Using an original 1950s large format camera, we create 5×7 portraits that are individually developed by hand in our studio in La Trinidad, Benguet.
Every session is slow, intentional, and designed to produce a timeless print made to last for generations.
About Us
Two people,
one shared love.
We’re a couple whose shared love for photography grew from street shots to weddings and, eventually, film. That journey led us to create October Dots Studios, our wedding photography company.
Later, we fell for the craft of large format photography. With no dedicated portrait studio in La Trinidad, Benguet, we built ODS Film Lab — ODS for October Dots Studios — a space for timeless portraits made through a slow, handcrafted process shaped by the same values.

What to expect.
Large format portraiture is a slow and intentional experience. Here’s how a session with us feels.
Slow & intentional
01Take your time to settle in. Let us know if you have a preferred pose or angle - each exposure is carefully made, so there are no retakes.
Developed by hand
02Every 5×7 frame is developed in our darkroom. Your finished portrait is ready roughly 1 to 1½ hours after your session.
An intimate studio
03We're a small, cozy space built for large format portraiture. Sessions comfortably fit up to 3 guests, plus one companion if needed.
Come prepared
04Please avoid wearing solid white or solid black tops. All other colors are welcome. For the best look, consider wearing a textured or patterned top (optional).

Our studio comfortably accommodates up to 3 guests per session (excluding staff). For groups larger than 3, we recommend booking a separate session so everyone is comfortable.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations
Made within 14 days of your session are non-refundable, as your appointment is reserved exclusively for you.
Rescheduling
We may offer a one-time reschedule, subject to availability, up to 7 days before your session.
If we cancel
For any unforeseen reason on our end, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.
